Trade paperback. Presumed first edition/first printing. vi, 390 p. Endnotes. This is a Strategic Studies Institute book. To better understand the PLA's ability to employ its developing capabilities in a variety of potential scenarios, this volume examines how the PLA learns through its exercises and noncombat operations. Roy Kamphausen is a Senior Associate for Political and Security Affairs at The National Bureau of Asian Research and a faculty member at George Washington University and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. Very good. No dust jacket. Cover has slight wear and soiling.…
