Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some mild marking and tanning.…

Tear to outer margin of p23/24. Overall condition is Very Good. Size: 4.5 x 5.5 inches (11 x 14 cm).

Color Illustrations; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 28 pages; Oversize HC in publisher's blue cloth with color pictorial panel mounted to cover; titles stamped in yellow to the top edge of the front board. Spine unlettered, as issued. A worn and rather shabby copy with cloth frayiong, chipped and torn along the spine; rubbed and worn at edges and corners. Contents shaken but clean and appear complete including pictorial endpages. A swath of the rear pastedown is torn away. Large illustrations on each page by Kennedy generally alternate color with b/w on facing pages. Prior owner had reinforced the spine with placement of transparent tape at bottom and top ends; tape is still in place. A reading copy or on for restoration. Fair to Good- only. …
