Taschenbuch. Etat : Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Nearly 70 percent of the people in the World have significant back pain at some time or the other in their lives. Non-specific Low Back Pain is one of the most common conditions for which individuals seek the advice of a Physiotherapist. Des…pite being one of the most commonly treated disorders in outpatient physical therapy practice, the management of low back pain (LBP) continues to be a challenge. Therapists must be able to identify those attributes that contribute to disabling LBP and recognize interventions that prevent or minimize the progression to chronicity. The analysis in this book will be helpful to the physiotherapist practitioners to formulate the most appropriate treatment protocol for patients with chronic non-specific low back. The author has highlighted the need to separate specific from non-specific low back pain (NSLBP); that psychological factors impact greatly on the outcomes of treatment and disability; and the treatment of LBP should focus on the prevention of disability. Also, educating patients on the natural course of Low Back Pain and recommending the continuation of tolerable physical activity should be incorporated as well.
