Both jackets a little sunned with very slight rubbing to edges. Small tears to lower front and rear edges of Vol 1 and slightly larger tear to upper front edge of Vol 1. Total of 539pp. Volume 1 describes the environment of the sea, positions and sea surveying operations. Volume 2 contains the illustrations referred to in the first volume.
