Brossura. Etat : new. Bari, 2023; br., pp. 136. (Storie dell'Educazione). Paperback. Etat : New. Print on Demand. Delving into the intricacies of architectural design, this book explores the concept of proportion in the construction of buildings. It examines the idea of proportionality in architecture, which emerged in Ancient Greece and was refined by Roman architects. Through detailed examples and analysis of notable architectural works, the author traces its evolution from its origins in wooden structures to the sophisticated forms seen in stone buildings. The book also delves into the methods and principles employed by architects to achieve aesthetically pleasing proportions, making it an insightful resource for students and practitioners of architecture. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. …
