Slight tanning internally (moreso to endpapers). Slight spotting, mostly confined to endpapers and outside edges of textblock. Neat underlining of species names in red ballpoint. Attractive bookplate to FFEP. Illustrated by line drawings and 3 composite plates at rear. The work contributed to clarifying taxonomic confusion within the family, particularly concerning keratinophilic species, and served as a foundation for later studies despite some conclusions being refined by subsequent mycologists.
