A very pretty example of the work of an under-rated English private press. 23 pages, printed in red and black with elaborate medieval-style initials. The text comprises a brief essay by Francis Bacon and a series of short poems by Abraham Cowley, all in praise of gardens. Card covers with cloth spine, a little rubbed. Contents perfectly clean and fresh.
