Book has hefty handmade paper throughout the 195 pp cream colored text and grey endpps. All colored plates of the various hunt clubs have been removed, but there are still many smaller line drawings by Lionel Edwards throughout. Fortunately, Mr. Edwards has painted different scenes of many British packs in a myriad of other books and the absence of the plates here isn't a total drag. Super rare dj is a professional reproduction that displays beautifully in new mylar. Book is 14" X 11.5" and weighs 8 pounds. Top edge of page block dyed navy blue, others untrimmed. Contents include: Preface, The Quorn Hounds, The Duke of Rutland's Hounds (The Belvoir), The Pytchley, The Warwickshire and the Norther Warwickshire, The Cheshire Hounds, The Berkeley and The Old Berkeley, The Duke of Beaufort's Hounds, The Cottesmore Hounds, The Whaddon Chase, The Old Surry and Burstow, The Grafton Hounds, The Atherstone Hounds, The South Notts Hounds, The Devon and Somerset Staghounds, Index.
