One of the weirdest and most wonderful of the Columbia B-noirs, a very faithful adaptation of Fredric Brown's byzantine mystery novel, with Anita Ekberg (pre-"La Dolce Vita") put to good use as a dancing siren, and the Red Norvo Trio performing icy strains of modern jazz both live and in the soundtrack. 8 x 10 inches. Very Good plus, with a tiny chip to the edge of one photo.

The second Universal-International film directed by Jack Arnold in 3-D (the first being the 1953 science fiction classic "It Came from Outer Space), and likely the first film noir shot in 3-D. From the archive of noted Hollywood still photographer Ray Jones. Born in Wisconsin on January 1, 1901, Jones worked for Paramount Pictures in the early 1930s, and went on to be the head of the still photography department at Universal Pictures in 1935, where he worked well into the 1950s. 8 x 10 inches.
