Soft cover. Small 8vo. Pp: 63. Original blue and white printed wraps with white lettering, blue lettering to spine and back. This is the expurgated first edition, there is a sticker on the half-title page that reads, "The blacked-out spaces are in mourning for the poems of E.E. Cummings, for which permission was refused by Harcourt Brace." Cummings name and two of his poems have been blacked out as his widow withdrew permission after printing, and two pages have been cut out from the book, as issued. This is a review copy with a review slip inserted at the front. Binding is visible at the front endpapers, else internally clean, there is toning to the spine and back cover of the book with some marks else very good condition.…
