Front board has been bent, creasing the cloth. Boards are bowed. Book has a slight forward lean. Splitting to hinges. Sunning to spine.

Not in Bleiler (1948; 1978) or Reginald (1979; 1992). 20 mm section of abrasion along the top edge of rear cover, tiny wormhole in rear outer hinge, a very good copy in fair-to-good example of the pictorial dust jacket: the front panel is substantially complete with very light chipping at extremities but the darkened spine panel is missing a section about 45 mm deep at the bottom and an irregular chip at the top biting into about half the title lettering; but for the spine chipping this would be a quite presentable copy of a very uncommon book.
