Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Endpapers have strips of tanning caused by jacket. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. A few edge tears and creases, as expected with rough cut paper. Edges very foxed. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Mildly dust-marked overall. Gilt is bright. Clipped jacket has some edgewear with chips, tears and creasing. Spine is noticeably sunned. Jacket is slightly rubbed and marked overall.
