A fair to good copy - better outside than in. Externally, good with bending to the corner tips, some soiling to the cloth and some stray pen markings to the rear cover. Interior has previous owner's bookplate to the paste down and 2 owner names to the free-endpaper. Bottom of endpaper and title page are torn about 3 inches up, and a handful of other pages with shorter tears or small chunks missing at the margins. Text pages are unmarked and the binding and hinges are solid. 151 pp., some illustrations by Eugenie M. Wireman, word review list and adverts at rear.

Bottom of endpaper is torn about an inch up, the title page has 2 pieces of tap holding a tear shut toward the binding, and 2 other pages have been taped back together. Many other pages have shorter tears or small chips missing at the margins.
