Dark brown cloth with beveled edges, bright gilt lettering and stamped decoration upon spine and front board, spine ends frayed, some rubbing to rear board with light soiling to front board, bumped corners. All edges gilt; dark brown endpapers. Black marker obscures past owner's narrow address label which is affixed over an older bookplate at top left of front pastedown.
