La reliure présente quelques traces d'usure et de frottement sur les bords ; on note un manque de 2 x 1 cm en tête du dos, ainsi que des traces de galeries de vers sur les mors extérieurs (jusq…u'à 3 x 0,5 cm). 682 (4) pages, incluant un portrait gravé du comte de Vordac en frontispice (gravé par Claude Rue), ainsi que 8 planches hors-texte supplémentaires et plusieurs vignettes décoratives. Un chiffre « 8 » est souligné à l'encre sur la page de garde avant ; le verso du frontispice porte l'ancien cachet d'un précédent propriétaire (le Dr Walther Wieland), dont l'encre rouge a déteint sur le recto (côté image). Légères taches jaunâtres éparses, principalement confinées aux marges. Dans l'ensemble, bon état // Original-Lederband mit rotem Rückenschild, goldgeprägtem Rückentitel und -schmuck sowie dreiseitigem Rotschnitt. Der Einband ist etwas randbestoßen und berieben, oberes Kapital mit 2x1 cm Fehlstelle, Außengelenke mit Wurmfraßspuren bis 3x0,5 cm. 682 (4) Seiten mit einem gestochenen Bildnis des Comte de Vordac als Frontispiz (Claude Rue sc.) sowie 8 weiteren Tafeln und einigen Schmuckvignetten. Durchgehend schwach gelbfleckig, zumeist nur im Randbereich.
