Hard pictorial boards with a little rubbing/chipping to edges/spine, some soiling/scuffing. Contents fair with some soiling/creasing. Charming colour and B&W illustrations throughout. Cover design by Harold Ernshaw shows a boy riding a motorcycle with a girl in the sidecar. A collection of stories and poems for children by the likes of Harold Avery, S B Owsley, Hawley Morgan, Ethel Talbot, J B Selkirk, M Wynne, Alice Sophia Jackson and Christine Chaundler. Illustrators include George E Studdy, Hawley Morgan, Lawson Wood, Arch Webb, Harold C Earnshaw and Peter Fraser. One of the illustrations by Studdy looks very much like his most famous creation, Bonzo. Scarce.
