It features an original and illustrated version of the classic adventure tale by Jules Verne. Photos, stories and biographies of the making of the 1956 motion picture. Michael Todd was the producer of the 1956 movie "Around the World in 80 Days," based on the Jules Verne classic novel of the same name. The screen play was written by S. J. Perelman. It was a lavish production, and it won 4 Oscars. Interior is tight, clean and unmarked. Hardcover has laminated illustrated boards with no DJ as issued. By November 1958, the film had earned worldwide rentals of $22 million including $4.6 million from overseas. The loosely inserted ticket contributed a few shillings to that colossal number.
