Tape residue markings on boards. Binding is tight and square. Light surface soiling to outer page edges. The dust jacket has been clipped and laminated. Beneath the laminate moderate shelf wear is visible. A few dogeared pages. Illustrated.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning.

Cloth. Etat : VG-. George Charlton and John Michael Barton (illustrateur). First Edition. Story of battleships charted back to the birth of the 'Ironclads'. In Muller's "Famous.of the world" series. Grey covers with gilt, 142pp with three blocs of b/w plates and numerous line drawings. Grey top edges. Only very light bumping to cover extrems, edges and spine slightly discoloured, page edges foxed and a bit yellowed. Small glue mark on ffep, otherwise internally clean and tight. No DJ, but a very solid copy. Ref:114971.

Binding remains firm. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf wear with mild bumping and fraying to corners and crushing and fraying to spine ends. All surfaces moderately tanned, particularly spine ends. Gilt lettering to spine is slightly dulled. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge wear with tears, chipping and creasing. Some rubbing and marking to surfaces. Spine noticeably sunned.
