Hardcover. Etat : Near Fine. Etat de la jaquette : Near Fine. 1st Edition. A scarce mystery novel following the eccentric Amber family on an improbable Himalayan adventure sparked by an unusual bequest. Blending light satire with adventure and family intrigue, Bonsack's narrative moves from domestic comedy into farcical international escapades involving mountaineering mishaps, political entanglements, and a cast of quirky recurring characters. This title is a sequel to The Parody Murder Case and reflects the tradition of late-20th-century vanity press fiction - often printed in small runs and seldom widely distributed. This copy appears Near Fine in a Near Fine dust jacket. Book is clean and tightly bound with sharp corners and no ownership marks; pages are fresh with only faint, typical toning. Dust jacket retains original $13.95 price, with light edge wear, minor rubbing, and slight toning to rear panel; no major tears or loss. An attractive, well-preserved example. First edition confirmed by 'First Edition' statement and full number line on copyright page. Published by Vantage Press, New York. Note: Acquired as part of a small group of copies sourced locally from the author's home region; condition and uniformity suggest possible uncirculated or retained author inventory, though not formally documented.
