Caleb and his sister meet Jesus as a carpenter working on their parent's house. In Rome, Decimus, a Roman, needs to replace a deceased Jewish slave and not finding one in Jerusalem Caleb is picked based on his resemblance. Caleb escapes with his cousin and in their wanderings, meet Christ and see him perform many miracles. Decimus hears the story the boys and Christ and makes a trip to Jerusalem to investigate the story of Christ and on his return, his plans have all changed. A clean very presentable copy. E.C. It IS an ex-library copy and is only in good condition with wear, the name of a previous owner (and Xmas 1933) written on the front loose end page and pages beginning to yellow; it has no dust jacket.
