Ziel ist zum einen die theorie- und empiriebasierte Entwicklung eines Fragebogens zur effizienten Erfassung dieser Sichtweisen und…zum anderen die empirische Analyse konkreter studentischer Sichtweisen.Der Fragebogen wurde auf Grundlage von theoretischen Analysen und Vorstudien entwickelt und anhand qualitativer und quantitativer Pretests überarbeitet. An der anschließenden Erhebung nahmen mehr als 1000 Studierende verschiedener Universitäten teil. Die empirischen Analysen zeigen, dass die Erhebung gut durchführbar und der Fragebogen gut bearbeitbar ist.In den hypothesenbasierenden Analysen wurden drei der vier Hypothesen zu Unterschieden der Sichtweisen zwischen den Studiengängen Gymnasial-Gesamtschullehramt und Grundschullehramt bestätigt. Die explorativen Analysen deuten auf weitere Unterschiede zwischen den Studiengängen Gymnasial-Gesamtschullehramt und Haupt-, Real-, Sekundar-, Gesamtschullehramt hin. Auch zeigten sich Zusammenhänge zwischen konzeptionellen Auffassungen zu den Zielen von Mathematikdidaktik und der Bewertung der Wichtigkeit und Nützlichkeit der Wissenschaft.
