This is a brief history of the rise of The United Society of Believer's in Christ's Second Coming, the establishment of the Pleasant Hill Colony, their beliefs, customs, and pathetic end. The Society was formed on Pleasant Hill in 1814 and existed until 1910, when their land was deeded to Dr. Pennebaker. A clean very presentable copy.
