Main feature article in the issue is a transcript of a joint press conference held in Newark, NJ by Leroi Jones (soon to be Amari Baraka), Charles Kinney, a Newark police detective, and Anthony Imperiale, a local player in the Italian American community, the purpose of which seems to have been to clear up "misunderstandings" between Newark Blacks and whites, police, and SDS community organizers.
