Franklin Swayne (d. 1924), a real estate lawyer from Philadelphia, purchased the forme…r Hibernia Iron Works property in Chester County, Pa., in 1894. Under his ownership, it evolved into a gentleman's country estate. His heir sold the estate to Chester County in 1963. In Fine Condition: clean and solid.
