Ajouter au panierPaperback. Etat : new. Paperback. A hilarious take on "expert" child rearing books. This guide is intended to satirize the concept of the many self-proclaimed child experts with really no qualifications to lend to that, and the many books they put out with questionable advice on parenting. Nothing in this book is meant to be taken seriously. William Doctors is an uneducated layman who has seemingly no experience with children, but boy is he full of advice on how to raise them. It is hinted at throughout the book that William Doctors has been convicted of crimes relating to his fraudulent medical advice, and is possibly under investigation for further crimes in several countries. Interestingly, the book is laid out in such a way that the topics discussed are in fact from several medical websites which list things to expect during certain age groups. The book rapidly diverges from the legitimate medical advice and is a series of conspiracy theories, rantings of an absolute lunatic, with several appearances of misogyny and vague racism, as one might expect from the caliber of man who would write this book. This book is classified as humor, however it should be noted that all of the information is presented in a deadpan delivery which is intended to appear as though the author truly believes this advice is worth giving. Follow William Doctors down a rabbit hole full of absurd medical theories and just downright awful parenting advice. Enjoy, and look for more in this line of books next year where we'll be covering such topics as free legal advice, parenting teens, and "The Liberal Agenda" as told by a complete fool. Enjoy, and remember: don't sue me over the advice in this book. This item is printed on demand.
