Oorspronkelijk uitgevers omslag, 50 Pages, colour illustrations, 30x21cm. Huyghe, Philip Thirteen days; Het werk van Philip Huyghe is niet in één woord te vatten. Hij beperkt zich immers niet tot één enkel medium: hij fotografeert, maakt video's, beeldhouwt, tekent . Onderwerp van zijn werk zijn allerlei alledaagse voorwerpen. Ze zijn herkenbaar, maar de context waarin Huyghe ze plaatst, brengt de toeschouwer in verwarring. De rode draad doorheen zijn formeel verscheiden werk is de verhouding tussen werkelijkheid en fictie, tussen feiten en fantasie. Een eigen parallelle wereld wordt gecreëerd in zijn oeuvre. Zijn afkomst vormt steeds het vertrekpunt. Philip Huyghe (°1959) woont en werkt in Antwerpen. Hij studeerde aan het Hoger Instituut voor Beeldende Kunsten Sint-Lucas te Gent, en aan de Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht. In 1986 won hij de prijs Jonge Belgische Schilderkunst. In 2001 realiseerde hij de solotentoonstelling Fistula in het Muhka te Antwerpen. Kunstwerken van hem werden opgenomen in de collecties van het SMAK en het Muhka 0 g.…
