Reform der46 - 46 c ff. der Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO).Auch die Möglichkeit der Befreiung von der gesetzlichen Rentenversicherungspflicht wird den Syndikusanwälten nun erstmals explizit eingeräumt. Es werden neue Bestimmungen in das SGB VI eingeführt, die dem angestellten Syndikusanwalt eine (rückwirkende) Befreiung von der Rentenversicherungspflicht möglich machen. Diese Neureglung war vor dem Hintergrund der einer solchen Befreiung entgegenstehenden Rechtsprechung des Bundessozialgerichts im April 2014 erforderlich geworden.In arbeitsrechtlicher Hinsicht begründet die Reform ebenfalls erheblichen Informations- und Änderungsbedarf, denn die Anstellungsverhältnisse der Syndikusanwälte bedürfen einer gründlichen Revision und rechtskonformen Ausgestaltung.Diese kompakte Einführung in das neue Recht fasst die Neuregelungen praxisgerecht zusammen.
