Moisture staining to the lower edge of the back cover. Light sunning and moderate soiling to hinges and spine. Previous owners name plate is pasted to the inside front cover. Text and the many b&w photos are otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are weak in areas but still firmly attached. Fold out map of The Aberdares in the back of the book is yellowed due to age. Also known by the name Mazori, the animal is believed to be either a sub-species of lion, or a lion-leopard hybrid. Condition of the book is Very Good Plus. The binding is straight and sound. Inside pages are complete and unmarked. Condition of the dust jacket is Very Good Minus. The DJ is complete, not price clipped. It shows moderate shelf wear, including some discoloration to the spine and the folds. The DJ is protected in a new mylar cover.
