Bound in original dark navy cloth boards with attractive orange lettering and decorative rules to the front board, together with a central pictorial device depicting a mounted classical figure. The binding remains sound and attractive, with light rubbing, minor surface marking and modest wear to the corners and extremities consistent with age. Internally, the title page and preliminary leaves are clean and well preserved, with only light age-toning. The text block appears firm and complete. A handsome interwar school edition of Latin poetry and prose intended for second- and third-year students, and an attractive example of 1930s educational publishing. Condition note: Good to Very Good. Original navy cloth with orange lettering and decoration. Light rubbing, minor marks and modest edge/corner wear. Binding sound. Internally clean with light age-toning and text clear and legible.…
