FINE- HARDCOVER, Blue cloth covers, lettering is bright on the spine and cover. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Soft cover. Etat : Poor. No Jacket. 1st Edition. xxxi +535 pages, illustrated. A poor copy of this quite monumental work, see copy of Contents page for subjects covered. The main negative is that the text block has come adrift from the covers (though a buyer should be able to rectify that to a degree with an application of decent adhesive). The covers are somewhat thumbed and corner-worn, marked and creased. The first or half-title page is spotted along the outside edge, due to the cover not wrapping completely; also a previous owner's self-adhesive label has been applied towards top left; the final page is marked, on both sides; there is a litle thumbing top and bottom at different stages; outside edges of text block have some foxing marks but, always excepting the occasional mark, the internal pages are generally clean and tidy. PLEASE NOTE! This is a heavy book (close to 2kg when packed) but postage/shipping within UK is included in the indicated pricing for 3-5 days shipping time option. For an order outside of UK or an order within UK for 1-3 days shipping time option, however, I will be asking for an additional contribution towards shipping costs.
