Slightest rub to head and tail of spine and corners, tiny wrinkle to cloth at head of spine, few very slightly dull marks to lower cover, slightest fine scratch to illustration on upper cover. Neat inscription dated 1909 on 2nd blank (see image), very faint slight foxing to half-title, very occasional faint foxing to top margins, . Contents very nice. A very good plus excellent bright copy. Published the same year as the U.S. first edition with the same number of colour plates.
