There is some mild spotting to the prelims but this does not affect the text block. The book is encased in a robust paper covered slipcase. Memoirs of Maj John Corneille (b c1727), British Army, describing voyage to India (1754) as secretary to Col John Adlercron, British Army, Colonel 39th Foot, C-in-C, Madras 1754-57, travels in south India and his part in military expeditions to Madras and Bengal, including an account of the battle of Plassey (23 Jun 1757) and description of Bengal. (Published as a Folio Society original in this edition in London 1966). Ref T4 Size: 182pp.
