Pages are clean and tight; printed on glossy paper. Lusly illustrated with 288 photographs, most in b/w, a 38 in color. My all time favorites are pages 273-277; showing the 1968 and 1984 Tigers playing in, and winning, the World Series, and a 6 photo section of a foal racing off to nurse and nap. The intro is by Neil Shine, still a writer at the Detroit Free Press. Very oversized, 5#. ; Photographs; 9 1/2 x 12 1/2; 278 pages; Book has very minor shelf wear. DJ has rubbing/scuffing, shelf wear, some chips, nicks, creases along the edges; 3" x 2" section at bottom of front, closed tear taped together; bottom half of front has creasing. But DJ is entire and in a mylar cover.…
