Hardcover. Etat : Very Good. No Jacket. Three stunning red coloured hardback books, with gorgeous gilt title impressions on the spine and a beautiful image of "The Last Supper" on front board. No dust jackets. All three books are in excellent condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with age and use. It looks like the three volumes have hardly been used or read. Volume 1 (A-D) has pages 1-344, Volume 2 (E-M) has pages 345-728, and Volume 3 (N-Z) has pages 729-1136). First published in 1965, these three volumes are a second impression dated 1966. All pages are intact, all pages, text and illustrations are in excellent, clean, readable order. Included with the three volumes is the book "Shrines and Pilgrimages" by Rev. Peter Bourne and Mabel Quin, first published in 1965, therefore making it a First Edition. Its a softcover booklet with 99 pages, all intact and in excellent condition. Along with this booklet are five fabulous pictorial maps, designed and drawn by E. Blattner. The maps show various Catholic Church locations in the following destinations: London, Rome, Paris, Europe & Great Britain & Eire. Also included with set is Virtue Catholic Information Bureau 24 unused vouchers, enabling the potential purchaser to write to the Bureau whenever you like to ask 24 different questions on matters concerning the catholic faith. The five maps, booklet and vouchers all pack nicely into a double sided plastic wallet. A truly wonderful complete set of three informative books and accompanying wallet that is well put together and would enhance any stylish home library.
