Extensively illustrated by its trainees, who included Hanson Booth, a charcoal specialist, and Bud Fisher, creator of Mutt & Jeff, the first commercially successful daily comic strip in the U.S. - in fact, those characters appear here, along with Fisher's caricatures Includes an interview with Lt.
