The boards are rubbed & bumped with some light spotting to the front board. 107 & [2] pages. The book is partially cracked following the flyleaf & there are paper-clip marks to the top edges of the flyleaf & the subsequent blank. Profuse sepia-toned photographic illustrations. Very good. A book published to thank American friends and American and Canadian Finns who helped Finland during and after World War II. Some of the photos depict the effects of the war and Finland's efforts to rebuild. The prelims and the captions to the photos are printed in English, Swedish and Finnish.A pencil inscription on the blank preceding the half-title, written in Finnish[?] and translated into English, states that the book is being sent to the recipient as a thank-you for packages received.
