Stapled pictorial covers. No 8 (Summer, 1949). Small-sized (13cm x 10cm) sf fanzine: 32 pages. 13 issues published in total (the last 13/14, a double issue) between and 1947-1951 edited by Donald B. Day for the Portland SF Society: each issue included (mostly fan) fiction, articles, reviews, news and a regular non-fiction column ''Author, Author'' - this issue featuring Murray Leinster. The first two issues were mimeographed: with a top circulation of 250 copies it paid its way -- the fanzine died not due to cost, but because Day took up square dancing. See Ashley/Tymn: Science Fiction, Fantasy, And Weird Fiction Magazines pp. 820-821 (though that doesn't mention the square dancing, I found that out elsewhere!). Staples rusting, a NF/Fine copy.
