In 1936 she graduated from Kiev University, in 1941 - graduate school at the faculty of foreign languages of Kyiv University. She worked on the compilation of the Anglo-Ukrainian dictionary at the Institu…te of Linguistics. On September 1, 1941, she married Andrei Vladimirovich Fesenko. Since 1941 - in the German occupation. In 1943, as a result of the livestock eviction by the Germans of the Kyiv population with her husband, he was taken to Upper Silesia (Germany) to the camp for Ostarbeters. After 1945, the Fesenko spouses lived in a camp for displaced persons the American occupation zone in West Germany, where the English language First Steps textbook for displaced persons of Ukrainian origin is published. Since 1947 - in the USA. In 1951-1963 she worked on the compilation of catalogs in the library of the US Congress in Washington. It was a description of the rare Russian books of the XVIII century in the library of the Congress "Eighteens Century Russian Publications in the Library of Congress" (1961). In collaboration with her husband, she wrote several books, including the work Russian language under the Soviets (New York, 1955). Author of collections of poems and autobiographical works. Fesenko's poems were included in the anthology: "Crossroads" (1977), "Meetings" (1983), "Coast" (1983) and "Return to Russia with poems" (M., 1995). Collaborating with V.P. Kamkin, she contributed to the publication of the books of Irina Odoevtseva, verses of Korvin-Piotrovsky, Nikolai Morshen, Ivan Elagin.
