The marbled paper was made in Venice by Enrico Ricciardi. Quarter cloth binding and cloth covered Solander box by Smith Settle, printed labels to spines of book… and Solander box, blue endpapers. The seven tipped-in plates were printed in Sheffield by J.W. Northend Fine Print. Octavo. [2] [1-6] 7-56 [6]. A book in Fine condition in a Fine Solander box.

Quarter cloth and beautiful marbled sides (in a false Suminagashi pattern) made in Madrid by Antonio Velez Celemin, housed in a slipcase. A book in Fine condition in a Fine slipcase. Prin…ted in three editions by Sheffield-based Northend Creative Print Solutions. All three editions feature the same collection of more than 400 prints, comprising a full catalogue of all the artist's engravings, including surviving copper plates found in Wright's studio by his son following the artist's death. The 100 copy A edition was full bound in cloth with a letterpress-printed label (printed inhouse by Fleece Press owner Simon Lawrence on a circa 1930s Autovic). A further 220 copy B edition, featuring an original tipped-in copper engraving printed by Black Star Press included as a frontispiece, was quarter bound in cloth and marbled paper over boards, with a paper spine label, and housed in a slip case. The hand-marbled cover paper was produced in Madrid by Antonio Velez Celemin in a "false Suminagashi pattern" incorporating a large heart that the judges said provided a "considered link between the contents of the book and the cover. Lawrence said: "There's a large red and black heart in the middle of the marbling on the front of the book, which is incredibly clever and difficult to do with marbling. You have a bath of water with inks floating on top that you have to draw into a particular pattern that is then drawn into paper that has been primed with alum. Every single one is different." The final 40 copy C edition included four extra original prints housed in a separate folder; the book itself was quarter bound in vellum and enclosed in a clamshell box. Lawrence selected an uncoated paper from Swedish paper mill Lessebo Bruk for the book. Binding was done by the Finedon-based Fine Book Bindery, which also made the slip cases and boxes for the B and C editions. Separations were done by Ian Wright Creative.

The paper is Magnani avorio Biblos and the type is Modern No. 7 set at Whittington by Peter…Sanderson. The print is protected within a brown paper cover with black lettering to the front panel. Quarto. pp. [1-4] 5-71 [3 blank] [limitation page] [3 blank] with illustrations throughout. A book and print in Fine condition in a Fine drop-back box. There were 150 standard copies (half bound in quarter cloth and housed in a slipcase), 90 standard copies with a print of Café Dansant (quarter bound in vellum and housed in a drop-back box), 54 special copies with two prints mounted in the book and 6 extra-special copies with extra proofs (not for sale).

Printed on specially made Zerkall paper, dampened before use, using 16 point Centaur and Arrighi type cast by Peter J Sanderson at Whittington Court. Folio, 14¾" x 10½", pp. [2] [1-6] 7-28 [2 with engravings title pag…e and title of the first engraving respectively], [[50], with 25 engravings on recto of pages and titles on verso] [2] [colophon] [3]. Eight tipped in plates. The second of a series of Fleece Press books on the wood and copper engravings of John Buckland Wright. The others are:'Bathers & Dancers' (1993), 'Surreal Times' (2000), 'Endeavours & Experiments' (2004), and 'To Beauty' (2006). A book in Fine condition housed in a Fine cloth solander box. Six of the 240 copies, lettered A to F were not for sale, bound in full classic vellum and accompanied by a set of prints made on Japanese gampi vellum. Thirty of the 240 copies were bound in classic vellum and signed by Christopher Buckland Wright. All 240 copies were housed in solander boxes.
