Notenblatt. Etat : Neu. Neuware - Drawing on her deep admiration for Johann Sebastian Bach, Sofia Gubaidulina has produced several works based on his music. For her Meditation on the Bach Chorale 'Vor deinen Thron tret ich hiermit', she says she was guided by her personal experience of the inner numerical relationships in the formal structure of the chorale prelude BWV 668. In four sections, the piece for strings and harpsichord meditates on the tonal and numerical relationships within the Bach chorale until it is finally heard in its entirety and the harpsichord succinctly sets the final point with the tone sequence B-A-C-H.Instrumentation:harpsichord, 2 violins, viola, cello and double bass; Aus ihrer tiefen Verehrung für Johann Sebastian Bach schöpfend, hat Sofia Gubaidulina mehrere Werke vorgelegt, die dessen Musik zum Ausgangspunkt haben. Schwierigkeitsgrad: 4-5.…

Notenblatt. Etat : Neu. Neuware - Sofia Gubaidulina took Christian Morgenstern's collection of poems 'Gallow Songs' as the starting point for her own song cycle. Gubaidulina adapted 15 of Morgenstern's seemingly childlike, formally simple poems, which are full of linguistic playfulness, for mezzo-soprano, double bass and percussion. In her settings, the composer subtly explores the ambiguities of Morgenstern's poems and transforms their grotesque imagery into unique miniatures of sound. 14 of these songs are also available in a version for mezzo-soprano, flute, double bass, bayan and percussion.
