The Patrol was a Royal Navy Command based at Dover and Dunkirk, its primary task was to prevent enemy German shipping entering the English Channel en route to the Atlantic. The memorial was erected in 1921 at Leathercote Point, St Margaret's Bay to remember those who fell. With Bibliography.
