Boards are a little rub worn with slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped and spine ends are a mildly crushed. Splitting to spine joints and ends. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

This copy of the true 1st edition is in VG condition with some discoloration to endsheets from binder's paste and light scattered foxing to preliminary pages oilt, o/w internally clean and bright. The dust jacket is in good only condition with moderate wear, edge chipping, spine label faded and some internal cellotape repairs. Somewhat hard-to-find in jacket and an important title for the fly angler.
