Mr. Hendrickson, the Editor, was with the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics ad the University of California at Berkeley. Includes a welcome from President Richard Nixon, as well as greetings from Rose Kennedy, Governor Ronald Reagan, and U.S. Senators Murphy and Cranston. Also contains the Meet Schedule and an article on the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library, written by Jack Hendrickson. Also contains information on world records broken at the Kennedy Memorial games. Pictures on p. 16 are from President Kennedy's visit to the University, March 23, 1962. Essay on the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library on p. 17-18 is by Jack Hendrickson. This is an increasingly rare surviving piece of Kennedy memorabilia, honoring jointly the President and the Senator. There were at least four of these memorial track and field games held, but they appear to no longer being held as such.…
