Tight, straight, and clean, with a bit of aging to text paper. A Very Good or better copy in the original publisher's cloth. Very nice copy of the Puli…tzer Prize-winning author's first book, a juvenile adventure novel. Reputedly (by Stribling's own estimation) no more than 250 copies were printed (see Ahearn, Book Collecting 2000: A Comprehensive Guide, p.410).
