I am pleased to be able to offer another vintage book for those of you who collect geology and related themes (as I did). Please find: Weir Experiments, Coefficients and Formulas by Robert E. Horton. This small hard cover (6 x 9 inches, 195 pages plus 2 pages of addenda) was published by the United States Geological Survey as Revision of Paper No. 150 printed by the Government Printing office in Washington dated 1907. The book is bound with a quarter spine and corners of black leather with gilt titles on the spine. The boards themselves are deep forest green. This book is very well illustrated with diagrams, tables and figures throughout. Condition: This book is in very good condition. There has been some rubbing and bumping to the leather of the boards but nothing too significant. There is a former owner s name in gilt and a paste-on label on the front cover and an inked version of the former owner s name on the first blank page. Those are the only marks I found in the book and the interior pages are clean and bright throughout without toning or foxing. The front hinge is cracked, the rear intact and the binding feels tight and strong. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
