These subjects often occur in literature of indigenous authors, especially poetry, 'the most popular genre of Aboriginal creative expression inEnglish' (Shoemaker 1989, S. 179).Another important theme, which is often worked up in indigenous poetry, is the urban Aboriginal's relation to their cultural heritage, which will be the topic of this termpaper.This theme is of high topicality nowadays, considering the increasing number of Aboriginals living in urban environments. It will be important to figure out to what extent the Indigenous's past does still play a role in their present lives. Also it will be of interest if they still feel connected with their cultural past, if nature still plays a decisive role, even in'civilised Aboriginals'' lives, and how they generally feel about their situation of being part of two significantly differing cultures. Therefore, the poems will be analysed on the basis of the subtopics nature, identity and past.The aim of this paper is to provide a small overview of recent poetic works dealing with this topical theme of the urban Aboriginals relation to their cultural heritage to draw the reader's attention to a new, probably even largely unknown part of Aboriginal's lives.This termpaper will first give a short overview about the Aboriginal poetry in general and the authors lives. Later on, poems in which subjects like past, civilisation or nature occur will be analysed. Poems by Oodgeroo Noonuccal and Jack Davis will act as exemplary works to be analysed and interpreted. Lucien Tesnière, who became known as the developer ofthe so called 'dependency grammar', was one of the first linguists who described thecapacity of a verb to bind a certain number of 'actants'1 (cf. Tesnière 1980, 385-386). In hisposthumously published book 'Eléments de syntaxe structurale'2 (1959) he called thisphenomenon 'valency'. Later on, other linguists adopted his notion, modified and adapted it.One of these linguists is Peter Eisenberg, a German philologist, who wrote some recentworks on grammar in which the role of verb valency is often in the center of attention.Because a period of thirty years had passed since Tesnière's first attempt to define thephenomenon of valency in linguistics, Eisenberg's approach is a lot more detailed andincludes different criteria for he had the opportunity to contribute his knowledge of othertheories which were created after Tesnière's book had been published.This term paper will draw a comparison of two works written by the authors mentionedabove with special regard to the words which are dependent on verbs. Since the verb is oftenin the center of attention when the notion of valency is concerned, the group of the otherwords which are 'governed' by the verb does not seem to be examined in the same way.Furthermore there does not even seem to be a standard term for such words (perhaps exceptfor 'arguments' (cf. Der Roman bietet jedoch nicht nur inhaltlich etwas zur damaligen Zeit völlig neues, sondern zeichnet sich auch durch seinen Montagecharakter aus, den Hielscher in seinem Essay durch die Verknüpfung als auch Konfrontation folgender drei Erzählformen definiert: 'der psychologische Entwicklungsroman, der Dokumentarroman im engeren Sinne und die phantastischen Erzählformen der oralen Erzähltradition und des lateinamerikanischen Romans'. Gerade auf die letzte der genannten Erzählformen, welche vor allem in den mit 'Landeskunde' betitelten Kapiteln zum Ausdruck kommt, soll in der vorliegenden Arbeit eingegangen werden. Concerning each field of study some striking features of IrE will be described and explained by the use of examples. It will be of special interest to what extent the differences date back to the influence of the Irish mother tongue Gaelic3. Since English is a relatively new language in Ireland, it will be the aim of this paper to find out if today's linguistic phenomena of IrE can be traced back to the period of the language shift from Irish to English. While by now most of the Irish people's mother tongue is English, it is still probable that the people are still influenced by their past - at least by means of language. But since there does not seem to be any work which deals with the question of how exactly Williams drew this contrast by use of symbolism, it will be my aim in this paper to analyse this question. Consequently, I will try to point out the main symbols with which Williams underlined the contrast between realism and illusion, especially considering names, colours, clothes, light, music and certain rituals of the main characters.In the second part of this paper, I will deal with the question to what degree the main characters Stanley and Blanche are strictly opposed to each other or may have something in common. I will also deal with the meaning of the ending concerning realism and illusion. Therefore, what will be discussed are the most striking antinomies and similes in the main characters' attitudes. A general conclusion about the topic of symbolism in Tennessee Williams' Streetcar will be given in the end.To introduce the reader to the topic and also to justify my choice of symbols, a definition of the notion of symbolism will be given right at the beginning of this paper. This will be done by including different approaches, so that a broader definition can be given. Die erste Woche des Praktikums widmete ich der Orientierung und hospitierte dazu in verschiedenen Fächern und Jahrgängen und begleitete jeden Tag einen anderen Lehrer . In der dritten Woche führte ich Gespräche mit mehreren Lehrpersonen, die mir in verschiedenen Situationen durch erzieherische Kompetenzen positiv aufgefallen waren und die sich durch ein (in meinen Augen) besonders freundliches Verhältnis zu den Schülern auszeichneten. Dabei orientierte ich mich vor allem an folgenden Fragestellungen, die mir bei der Auswertung meiner Beobachtungsaufgabe helfen sollten:-Was für einen Anteil macht der erzieherische Bereich im Beruf aus -Inwiefern kann ein Lehrer erzieherischen Einfluss auf seine Schüler auswirken -Inwiefern darf ein Lehrer erzieherischen Einfluss auf seine Schüler auswirken -Darf man sich als Lehrer in Situationen einbringen, die außerhalb der Unterrichtszeit stattfinden -Wie handelt man, wenn man erkennt, dass ein Schüler Probleme im Privatleben hat -Bereitet einen das Studium genügend auf den pädagogischen Bereich des Berufslebens vor -Welche Rolle spielt das persönliche Verhältnis von Lehrer und Schüler in Bezug auf den erzieherischen Einfluss -Wie viel Zeit muss man als Lehrer für Organisatorisches einplanen.

Bei seinem neuen, 1977 erstmals veröffentlichten Modell, der kritisch-konstruktiven Didaktik, hatte er nicht nur eigene Veränderungen vorgenommen, sondern auch Aspekte aus anderen didaktischen Theorien einfließen lassen. Mir erscheint es sinnvoll, der Entwicklung der bildungstheoretischen hin zur kritisch-konstruktiven Didaktik mittels dieser Hausarbeit nachzugehen, da Klafki sich in beiden Ansätzen stark mit der Frage der Unterrichtsvorbereitung auseinandersetzt, einem Thema, was wohl nie an Aktualität verlieren wird und welches einem zukünftigen Lehrer durchaus hilfreich sein kann. Vor allem soll jedoch der Fragestellung nachgegangen werden, aus welchen Gründen die bildungstheoretische Didaktik für überarbeitungswürdig gehalten wurde, wie die Kritiker auf dieses Modell reagierten und inwiefern Klafki die Kritik am alten Ansatz in seinem neuen Konzept berücksichtigt hat. Auch soll gezeigt werden, welche Einflüsse aus anderen didaktischen Theorien erkennbar sind. Als Grundlage soll dazu zuerst die ursprüngliche bildungstheoretische Didaktik kurz umrissen, sowie die wichtigsten darin enthaltenen Begrifflichkeiten geklärt werden. Neuware -Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Didaktik - Allgemeine Didaktik, Erziehungsziele, Methoden, Note: 2,0, Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (Institut für Erziehungswissenschaft), Veranstaltung: Seminar 'Grundlagen der Didaktik', Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Wolfgang Klafki, einer der bedeutendsten Vertreter der bildungstheoretischen Didaktik, entwickelte in den 1950er Jahren seinen bildungstheoretischen Ansatz, den er aber keine zwei Jahrzehnte später überarbeitete.Bei seinem neuen, 1977 erstmals veröffentlichten Modell, der kritisch-konstruktiven Didaktik, hatte er nicht nur eigene Veränderungen vorgenommen, sondern auch Aspekte aus anderen didaktischen Theorien einfließen lassen.Mir erscheint es sinnvoll, der Entwicklung der bildungstheoretischen hin zur kritisch-konstruktiven Didaktik mittels dieser Hausarbeit nachzugehen, da Klafki sich in beiden Ansätzen stark mit der Frage der Unterrichtsvorbereitung auseinandersetzt, einem Thema, was wohl nie an Aktualität verlieren wird und welches einem zukünftigen Lehrer durchaus hilfreich sein kann. Vor allem soll jedoch der Fragestellung nachgegangen werden, aus welchen Gründen die bildungstheoretische Didaktik für überarbeitungswürdig gehalten wurde, wie die Kritiker auf dieses Modell reagierten und inwiefern Klafki die Kritik am alten Ansatz in seinem neuen Konzept berücksichtigt hat. Auch soll gezeigt werden, welche Einflüsse aus anderen didaktischen Theorien erkennbar sind.Als Grundlage soll dazu zuerst die ursprüngliche bildungstheoretische Didaktik kurz umrissen, sowie die wichtigsten darin enthaltenen Begrifflichkeiten geklärt werden.
