Book has bumping to rear corners, light wear to spine ends and some edges. Text is printed on thin paper, so the book is not as heavy as you would expect it to be, given the number of pages (1,743). The boards are more flexible than the normal Bollingen books, but the binding is still solid. Fourteen different translators were used for this edition. The are a few footnotes and an index.
