Likely printed in 1863 or 1864. Light toning and spotting in both volumes, not affecting text. (Sabin 14447) (Ante-Fire Imprints, 617) (OCLC 49498241) Only… pamphlet "No. 2" can be found in public collections. A scarce ante-fire imprint from Chicago. Revered N.G. Collins served as the Chaplain of the 57th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. Full title reads: Speech of the Rev. N.G. Collins to Regiments in Gen. Dodge's Division, on the Intellectual Condition of the South, compared with the North; with its bearing upon the present Rebellion. Two pamphlets printed in Chicago in 1863, titled Speech of Revered N.G. Collins, on the Intellectual Condition of the South compared with the North and its bearing on the present rebellion.
