Some dark discoloration spots and marginalia occasionally throughout. Crack within the gutter between pages 448 and 449, yet binding is sound and pagination complete. Excerpt from the introductory pages: "The Trustees of the Public Library have the pleasure, by means of the present Index, to open for the use of their fellow-citizens another portion of the books which have been entrusted to their care.
