Flutter, who wrote the foreword, is Godden's daughter; Asher, who wrote the introduction, played the middle sister (analogous to Godden) in the 1961 movie version ofthe book; a greengage is a sort of plum. Attractively bound with ink sketches by Brouwer; the first Folio printing, as pictured. Light wear to book, hint of rubbing to spine; clean & unmarked, light rubbing to slipcase. Size: Octavo.

Comes with nice green boxed slipcase. This wonderful book is in really nice, clean, good condition, it looks like its hardly been read or used. As its a used book normal wear, marks and tear apply, consistent with use and age. 170 pages, all intact and nice tight binding. This specific book is the second printing dated 2002.
